This week in Ms. J. Brown's class, the students have been studying the pilgrims, the Wampanoag tribe, and discussing the first Thanksgiving. They took a virtual trip to the Plimoth Plantation through where they learned about the Mayflower and the life of the pilgrims. In the pictures below, the students are holding their admission ticket to the Plimoth Plantation.

The students also have pen pals from Mrs. Robbins' first grade class at Ringgold Elementary School in Benton, Arkansas that they communicate with often through email. The Ringgold Elementary students sent Halloween cards after Hurricane Matthew to let the class know that they were thinking of them. In the pictures below students are creating "Thank You" cards to send to their pen pals.
