• Monday, October 7th ~ Word Day of Bullying Prevention (Wear a blue uniform shirt.)

• Tuesday, October 8th ~ Fall Picture Day (These are yearbook pictures and students MUST be in uniform.)

• Tuesday, October 15th ~ Title 1 Parent Night (Session 1 @ 5:00 and Session 2 @5:30)

• Wednesday, October 16th ~ Unity Day ~ Wear and share orange to send a visible message that NO child should ever experience bullying.  (Wear an uniform shirt or orange accessories.)

• Friday, October 18th ~ Pink Out Day (Wear a pink uniform shirt or pink accessories.)

• Tuesday, October 22nd ~ First Grade PTA Performance @ WHS Auditorium at 6:30.

• Thursday, October 24th ~ NC Countdown to College Week (Wear a College Spirit t-shirt.)

• Friday, October 25th ~ Career Daty (What I want to be when I grow up.)

• Monday, October 28th – Thursday, October 31st Red Ribbon Week (Flyers will be sent home with daily themes.)

August 2024

• Monday, August 19th - Thursday, August 22nd ~ Required Teacher Workdays

• Thursday, August 22nd ~ Meet Your Teacher 2:00 to 6:00

• Monday, August 26th ~ First Day of School for Students

• Kindergarten Staggered Enrollment Monday, August 26th (boys)  and Tuesday, August 27th (girls)

• ALL Kindergarten students will begin coming on Wednesday, August 28th

• PreK Staggered Enrollment Wednesday, August 28th, Thursday, August 29th, and Friday, August 30th
